About Us At Cloudflare, we are on a mission to help build a better Internet. Today the company runs one of the world’s largest networks that powers millions of websites and other Internet properties for customers ranging from individual bloggers to SMBs to Fortune 500 companies. Cloudflare protects and accelerates any Internet application online without adding hardware, installing software, or changing a line of code. Internet properties powered by Cloudflare all have web traffic routed through its intelligent global network, which gets smarter with every request. As a result, they see significant improvement in performance and a decrease in spam and other attacks. Cloudflare was named to Entrepreneur Magazine’s Top Company Cultures list and ranked among the World’s Most Innovative Companies by Fast Company. At Cloudflare, we’re not looking for people who wait for a polished roadmap; we’re looking for the builders who see the cracks in the Internet that everyone else has simply learned to live with. We value candidates who have the instinct to spot a "normalized" problem and the AI-native curiosity to create a solution using the latest tools. Our culture is built on iteration, leveraging AI to ship faster today to make it better tomorrow, while ensuring that every improvement, no matter how small, is shared across the team to lift everyone up. If you’re the type of person who values curiosity over bureaucracy, and that AI is a partner in solving tough problems to keep the Internet moving forward, you’ll fit right in. Available Locations: Lisbon About the Department Emerging Technologies & Incubation (ETI) is where new and bold products are built and released within Cloudflare. Rather than being constrained by the structures which make Cloudflare a hugely successful business, we are able to leverage them to deliver entirely new tools and products to our customers. Cloudflare’s edge and network make it possible to solve problems at massive scale and efficiency which would be impossible for almost any other organization. About the Team We build the tooling and platform capabilities that power the next generation of AI agents on the Cloudflare Developer Platform. Our goal is to make it easier for agents to interact with the web, and to be observed and controlled while they do it — without giving up performance, scalability or security. Browser Run is the centre of that work, and it is the product this role owns. It runs full browser sessions on Cloudflare’s global network and lets developers drive them with code or with an agent: a Chrome DevTools Protocol endpoint that any Puppeteer, Playwright or CDP client can connect to from anywhere, Workers bindings, and a REST API for the common jobs — screenshots, PDFs, Markdown extraction, scraping and crawling. On top of that sit session recording and replay, live debugging, and a path for a human to step in when an agent gets stuck. It is used by external developers building agents, crawlers and scrapers, and by other Cloudflare teams who need a browser they can trust. It is also a billed product on a steep growth curve, which makes capacity, cold-start latency, concurrency limits and abuse protection product problems rather than merely operational ones. The team’s wider portfolio includes an agent-first browser built on Workers rather than containers, a managed CI platform for the agent development lifecycle, visual regression testing delivered as a service, a pre-rendering service, URL Scanner, and CDNJS. Browser Run is the focus of this role today; there is scope for more of that portfolio to come into it as the role and the team grow. Browser Run went from an internal rendering tool to a public, billed product, and the surface has not stopped moving — the CDP endpoint, MCP client support, session replay and the REST API all landed inside a year. That pace is the point, and it is the thing this role has to make sustainable. We are a tight-knit team that communicates and collaborates regularly. We celebrate our achievements, support each other when we make mistakes, and hold each other and our work to the highest standard. About the Role This is a hands-on engineering management role. You will own Browser Run engineering end to end — the people, the roadmap, the reliability, and the story we tell customers about it. You will report to the Senior Engineering Manager for AI Agents Tooling & Platform and partner closely with Product Management, Developer Relations, and platform teams across Cloudflare. Browser Run is the primary focus. The team owns other products, and there is scope for some of them to move into your remit as the role and the team grow, but we are hiring someone to make Browser Run excellent first. You will not be writing most of the code. You will be expected to understand it well enough to review a design document, challenge an architecture, and know when an estimate is wrong. What you’ll do Manage, coach and grow the team of systems engineers behind Browser Run — 1:1s, career development, performance conversations, and hiring. Own the Browser Run roadmap and delivery, and give the team and the wider organisation clear visibility into what is being worked on, in what order, and what we are deliberately not doing. Partner with Product Management to set direction: shape the roadmap, pressure-test scope, and make the trade-off calls that keep an incubation product shipping. Own Browser Run’s operational health — browser fleet capacity, session reliability, cold-start latency, concurrency limits, on-call rotations, alert quality and incident follow-through. External developers and other Cloudflare teams depend on this service. Keep the automation surface honest: Puppeteer and Playwright compatibility, CDP behaviour that matches what developers expect from a local Chrome, and a credible story for Chrome version upgrades. Develop leaders. Identify and grow the engineers who will run day-to-day delivery for an area of the product, and hand that work to them. Resolve cross-team dependencies with the Workers, Developer Platform, Security and Billing teams, and bring contentious technical decisions to closure quickly and calmly. Own the commercial mechanics of a billed service, including the unglamorous parts: usage metering, quotas, plan limits, abuse protection and pricing input. Represent Browser Run externally through launch blog posts, developer documentation, conference talks and direct customer conversations. About you We want you to love it here. This role is a great fit for you if: You have run an engineering team that shipped, and you can point at what it shipped. You give your technical legos away. Your measure of success is the team’s output and the growth of the people on it, not your own commit history. You are comfortable with ambiguity. Incubation means the requirements move, and you can change direction without drama. You are direct. You give feedback early, disagree openly, and admit when you were wrong. You write well. You believe a clear design document, roadmap or incident report is as much of a deliverable as the code. You care about operational quality and treat a noisy alert as a bug, not as background noise. You find browsers genuinely interesting as an engineering problem — how Chrome behaves under load, why automation breaks, and what an AI agent actually needs from a browser it does not own. You want to join a team that upholds a culture of support, open and honest communication, and collaborative problem-solving. Examples of Desirable Skills, Knowledge, and Experience 2+ years managing engineering teams, on top of a solid track record as a hands-on engineer. Experience owning a production service end to end, including on-call rotation, capacity planning and incident review. Demonstrated experience growing engineers — promotions you supported, and ideally a team lead or first-line manager you developed. Hands-on familiarity with browser automation — Chrome DevTools Protocol, Puppeteer or Playwright — or with the browser internals underneath them. Strong technical grounding in distributed systems, web platform fundamentals (HTTP, JavaScript execution models, rendering) or cloud infrastructure — enough to hold a credible design review. A track record of partnering with Product Management to set and defend a roadmap, including saying no. Excellent written communication for internal and public-facing technical content. Experience hiring: writing job descriptions, running interview loops, calibrating a panel and closing candidates. Bonus Points Experience running headless browser infrastructure at scale — browser fleet management, sandboxing and resource isolation. Experience shipping AI or agent-facing platform primitives, such as MCP servers, tool-calling surfaces or agent orchestration. Familiarity with the Cloudflare Workers development platform: Workers, Durable Objects, Workflows, R2, D1. Experience taking an internal tool to a billed external product, including usage metering and pricing. Experience managing a distributed team across time zones. Open source maintainership, or a public body of technical writing. Compensation For Portugal based hires: Estimated annual salary of €74,000 - 93,000 Equity This role is eligible to participate in Cloudflare’s equity plan. Benefits Cloudflare offers a complete package of benefits and programs to support you and your family. What Makes Cloudflare Special? You’ll help us build and integrate Vercel-powered tools that replace legacy busywork with something genuinely fast and modern. If you get excited about composable HR tech and shipping tools people actually want to use, this is that role. You’ll also own and evolve our core Workday integrations, partnering closely with People, Finance, IT, and Engineering stakeholders to keep our HR systems reliable, secure, and scalable.. This role blends hands-on integration work with real functional fluency in People Operations — you’ll need to understand not just how data moves between systems, but why our stakeholders need it to move that way. You will report to the Director of People Operations, Infrastructure & Services and will be located in one of our hub locations (San Francisco, New York, or Austin). What You Will Do: Help us build the future -- build and integrate Vercel-powered internal People tools that will define how this team works, and support our push towards a headless HR tech stack Build, maintain, and troubleshoot Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors/Cloud Connect, Workday Studio, APIs) that support key People Operations and Finance workflows. Contribute to testing, security, and change-management practices that keep our HR system integrations resilient as we scale. Working knowledge of XML/XSLT, calculated fields, and the Workday Business Process Framework; exposure to Workday security configuration is a plus. Genuine interest in People Operations — you're comfortable learning the functional "why" behind a process, not just the technical "how," and enjoy building relationships with People and Finance stakeholders. Strong communicator who can translate between technical integration details and non-technical stakeholder needs. Comfortable owning discrete integration projects independently, with guidance from senior team members on complex or ambiguous problems. A plus if you have experience using Workday Extend to build applications Benefits: Competitive compensation package, including equity. Inclusive Healthcare Package. Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills. Flexible Time Off. We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed. Whether you’re building our products, supporting our customers, growing our community, or shaping our story, you’ll help define what comes next.About the Role: We're looking for a Financial Systems Administrator to join our Finance Transformation team as the day-to-day owner of our finance tech stack and the team’s resident builder for how AI transforms our work. You'll partner with our team to keep our systems running: triaging and resolving production support issues, administering NetSuite, and supporting the broader stack (Zip, Stripe, Ramp, Navan, and more) from simple provisioning requests to complex root-cause troubleshooting. You'll also become our team's SME on Serval, our AI-powered ticketing system, and own the roadmap for how we use it to automate support rather than just staff it. Beyond the queue, this is a build role. Vercel is a fast-growing AI company, and we want our own team to work like one. You’ll help us evolve from a pure project-management function into a technical team that ships, building agents and tools that automate our workflows. If you enjoy rolling up your sleeves to both keep the lights on and build the thing that means you never have to flip that switch manually again, this role is for you! If you’re based within a pre-determined commuting distance of one of our offices (SF, NY, London, or Berlin), the role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. If you're located beyond that distance, the role is fully remote. For location-specific details, please connect with our recruiting team. What You Will Do: Own production support end-to-end for Finance systems, resolving tickets to support our Finance stakeholders and the broader company, and keeping response times tight and resolutions durable. Administer and troubleshoot across our finance tech stack — NetSuite, Zip, Stripe, Ramp, Navan, and related tools — handling everything from user provisioning and access requests to complex, cross-system incident troubleshooting. Become our team's subject matter expert on Serval, our AI-powered ticketing platform — configuring it, tuning it, and identifying where it can absorb more of our support load through automation. Design and build AI agents and internal tools that automate Finance Transformation workflows, such as dashboards in v0, change management review agents, and backlog triage automation. Reimagine our project intake process end-to-end so stakeholders across Finance and the company have a seamless way to submit and track requests. Maintain strong financial systems controls, including role-based access, segregation of duties, change management, system documentation, and support for SOX/audit requirements. Support month-end close as it relates to systems, including troubleshooting and operational readiness. Coordinate with vendors and internal technical partners (IT and Security) when issues span systems or integrations. About You: 5+ years of experience in financial systems administration and support, with deep hands-on experience in NetSuite administration. Comfortable owning a shared ticket queue and juggling multiple concurrent systems and stakeholders without losing momentum. Hands-on experience using AI tooling to build practical solutions or automate real workflows, with enthusiasm for continuing to deepen those skills. Solid understanding of finance business processes, especially procure-to-pay (P2P) and record-to-report (R2R). Able to troubleshoot complex, cross-system issues end-to-end, identify root causes, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. At Anthropic, we believe new AI capabilities are best achieved through secure foundations, not in spite of them. As capabilities grow more advanced, it is critical that progress moves forward safely and for the benefit of all society. It is the reason why security sits at the center of our work, and not as an afterthought. We're specifically looking for a Software Engineer to help us build and maintain new agentic coding tools for developers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developer tools, extensive knowledge of diverse programming environments and languages, and experience with advanced LLM features like tool-use, chaining and orchestration patterns, and prompt engineering. Curiosity about AI research is a must! Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain scalable features and infrastructure for AI-powered development tools Engage directly with developers inside and outside Anthropic to gather insights and improve user experience Collaborate with researchers to improve model capabilities through shared tools and evals Stay ahead of advancements in AI-assisted coding by experimenting with new tools, evaluating emerging techniques, and tracking enhancements to existing ones Contribute across the stack—from front-end UI to back-end infrastructure—to develop new features, fix bugs, and optimize performance Dive into possibly unfamiliar areas like Python notebooks, VS Code plug-ins, and containerized environments. You may be a good fit if you: Are excited about AI-assisted coding as a tool to enhance developer productivity and creativity—not replace human ingenuity Spend a lot of time refining and customizing your AI workflows Have experience building and maintaining dev tools Are an expert in React development, including performance optimization, modern patterns (hooks, context, suspense), and component architecture Specialize in user experience engineering but are a capable full stack developer Have hands-on experience working with large language models and prompt engineering Have worked on projects with stringent safety, security and/or compliance requirements Care about the societal impacts and ethics of your work Have 6+ years of work experience Strong candidates may also have experience with: Building and maintaining CLI tools Working in large codebases and quickly jumping in to unfamiliar development environments Working with container orchestration and cloud infrastructure Scaling TypeScript projects Working with alternate JavaScript runtimes like Bun and Deno The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.Annual Salary:$320,000—$625,000 USDLogistics Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices. Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this. We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.Your safety matters to us. How we're different We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills. The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences. Come work with us! Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues. About Anthropic Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.About the role Anthropic's Enterprise Knowledge Work team builds the products that help enterprise knowledge workers collaborate deeply with Claude for major parts of their work. Over the past year, AI has transformed how software engineering happens; for the rest of knowledge work, though, using AI still mostly means answering questions and producing first drafts — a small slice of the actual job. We're building toward something bigger: people and agents working together on every core work objective, from first idea to finished product, and the recurring work of a team running with Claude in the loop instead of a person pushing every step. It's an enormous space, it's early, and no one has built it well yet. You'll help decide what these products are, not just how they're built — the product questions are as open as the architecture ones — and you'll see your work land with real teams at the world's largest enterprises. What you'll do Own technical design and delivery for enterprise-facing core products, end-to-end across the stack Partner with product, design, and go-to-market to turn enterprise customer workflows into shipped product, not just execute against a spec Set technical direction and standards for your team: architecture, code quality, and how the team builds Work directly with enterprise customers and sales during key conversations, translating what you learn into engineering priorities Work closely with research to make the models better in your domain: shaping evals, surfacing failure modes, and feeding customer learnings back into model development Mentor other engineers and raise the technical bar across the team, working with influence rather than authority Build the core primitives that enable knowledge workers across industries and roles to meaningfully leverage Claude You may be a good fit if you Have 8+ years of software engineering experience, ideally with 2+ years at a Staff or equivalent technical leadership level Have led the design and delivery of complex customer-facing products across the full stack Have built AI products and know what it takes to turn model capabilities into applications people actually use Are comfortable working directly with enterprise customers and translating what you learn into technical decisions Have built products from 0 to 1 in fast-moving environments, and can set technical direction with limited precedent to lean on Drive cross-team alignment to ship impactful work, with influence over authority Strong candidates may also have Experience working with research to improve domain-specific model capabilities, including evaluation frameworks Experience as startup founders or early-stage employees The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.Annual Salary:$405,000—$485,000 USDLogistics Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time.
